i fuckin wish
you see, i went in to get my piercing knowing that i wanted a retainer so that i could flip it up while it was healing if i wanted to…plus i knew it would be cheaper that way.
but no. the man insisted that it would fall out (…because..you know..my nose would be doing gymnastics 24/7 so obviously it would fall out.) and insisted that i get a horseshoe barbell…so i did.
…so now i get to have it showing for 6-8 weeks. which is pretty much the entire semester so …yeah.
ugh.
and to add to my frustration. now instead of costing me x amount of money it cost me double that because of the more expensive jewelry which has left me with 6 dollars in my checking account but if i had not been so hyped up about the piercing i could have insisted that i get a retainer and would have been 30 bucks richer.
